சங்க சக்ர கதாபாணே த்வாரகா நிலயாச்யுத!
கோவிந்த! புண்டரீகாக்ஷ!ரக்ஷமாம் சரணாகதம்
எனக் கதறினாள். ஸ்ரீகண்ணனின் அருளால் பாஞ்சாலியின் மானமும் காப்பாற்றப்பட்டது
இக்கட்டான சூழ்நிலையில் உள்ள பெண்கள், பாஞ்சாலி சொன்ன அபய மந்திரத்தைச் சொல்லி, கிருஷ்ண பரமாத்மாவின் அனுக்ரஹத்தைப் பெறலாம்.
இந்து மதத்தை பொறுத்தவரை “வளருதல் அல்லது என்றுமே குறையாதது” என்னும் பொருளே “அட்சயம்”, பார்வதி தனது பிறந்த வீட்டுக்கு வந்ததும், பரசுராமர் அவதரித்ததும் அட்சய திருதியையன்றுதான்.

செல்வத்திற்கு அதிபதியான கடவுளர் குபேரரே செல்வமிக்க கடவுள் என நம்பப்படுகிறார். இந்த நாளில் குபேரர் கூட விஷ்ணுவின் மனைவியும் செல்வத்திற்கான தெய்வமான லக்ஷ்மியை வணங்குவார் என லக்ஷ்மி தந்தரம் கூறுகிறது. இந்த நாளில், குபேர லக்ஷ்மி பூஜை நடத்தப்படுகிறது. அதில் லக்ஷ்மி உருவப்படத்துடன் குபேரரின் அடையாளமான சுதர்ஷன குபேர யந்தரமும் ஒன்றாக வைக்கப்பட்டு வணங்கப்படுகிறது.
அன்றைய தினம் நாம் வாங்க வேண்டிய பொருட்கள் மஞ்சள், கைக்குத்தலில் வந்த முனை முறியாத பச்சரிசி மற்றும் “கல்”உப்பு போன்றவை.
அட்சயதிருதியை அன்று லட்சுமி மட்டுமில்லாமல், சிவன் பார்வதி, நாராயணனனையும் மற்றும் நம் நலனுக்காக வாழ்ந்த முன்னோகளையும் நினைத்து பூஜை செய்தால், நம் பாவம் அனைத்தும் விலகி நல்ல வாழ்வை பெறலாம்.
